Can't think of an appropriate title.
Anyway, I went for my last 2B salsa lesson today. alone. but felt quite ok. becos, quite 熟 with the classmates le. Before leaving, we actually exchanged contacts.
ok, that's not the main thing i wanna say.
Our instructor, Wendy, mentioned about something which i find it quite interesting. She actually relates salsa partnership with our life partnership. She says that we must be able to dance well alone first before we can dance well with a partner. If you are lousy, then dun affect others. Can't really remember the exact words la. but the idea is there. Saying, if you are an unhappy (or problematic?) person, then dun go into a relationship to torture others. Something like that har. hope you all get the idea. can't express it well.
But I wan make a disclaimer. i.e. I'm not making any personal attack on anyone. Jus thot that it is quite interesting to link this mentality to salsa dancing and then back to boy-girl relationships. (oh no.. bgr sounds so ermm. childish? haha. too old to say bgr? can't find a better word leh)

3rd day he is away
Miss him.
Though we dun meet everyday. maybe sometimes we mite not meet for a few consecutive days. . . though 3 days aren't that long. . . but somehow, it is different when i know i wun be able to contact him. . .
when i wake up, and i know it's mid night over there. when i am slacking at night here, properly he is having a busy afternoon over there. somehow it is just different la. :) it's like we are experiencing different part of the day. sounds so ehh... duh. haha.
anyway, just wanna jot down some thots la.
but it's a good experience. one wk is really short la. but i realise not to take his presence for granted.

A busy wk. A Lazy saturday = long post
Had a busy wk. Busy at work and busy after work.
Work -
busy and slightly unhappy. but everything is under control. oh. not always unhappy la. some happy matters too. Ok, that's enough to summarize my wk at work.
After work -
busy shopping for a pair of rings. trying very hard to get a pair of wedding band before the G.S.T..... eh.. sounds cheapo? or a typical singaporean?haha. but anyway, din get a pair. gave up. will get after mingtao comes back. i.e. GST = 7% :(
Went to Lee Hwa, Goldheart, Soo Kee, Tiff and Co. .. eh.. can't decide what we want. shortlist a few though.
Ok, that was the busy wk.. doesn't sound that busy afterall? haha. but it was a tiring wk.slept late everynight.
Oh, went for Shisheng and Mun Yee's wedding last sunday night. that was the beginning of the late night sleep... will post some photos later. :) oh ya.. Huang Shi Yu was shisheng's brother. We took the table photo together with him.
TODAY. today is Saturday! Work up early this morning.. 610am... to send him off. he will be in UK for a wk plus. still in the plane now.. hope he will enjoy his trip there. :) After sending him in at about 8am, i went for breakfast with his parents. nice chat. went back to continue my beauty sleep. hehe.. till ard 11+? went to posb with brother and lunch with family at 201 coffeeshop.
In the afternoon, i went to my salsa class alone. moves getting harder and more intimate. but ok la. my skin is thicker now. remember? hee. ok, so after my dancing... i head home and continue my sleep. aGaIN.. hahaha.. that's why it was a lazy saturday. woke up for dinner. and now blogging.

Dinner at 天天火锅
one wk has passed since my last entry. and Today is Friday again!
Just wanna leave a note on my dinner yesterday. Went to eat 天天火锅 with long-time-no-see friends. (Hwee Suan, Yongkang (not them), Hwee Wen and Adrain).
I ate 天天火锅 once abt 1-2 years ago. Had a bad impression of them. Crowded, stuffy, long waiting time, stingy portion... The only good memory is the 汤真的很好喝！(sounds familiar? ;p) But of cos, the 很好喝的汤 did not win the discomfort of the place. => i did not visit them again since then
Yesterday, i went to 天天火锅 with these vague memories. the place improves alot. The ambience of the place is good. Clean, more spacious and better service change my impression of them. Worth trying. However, the soup wasn't as great as what i've remembered.
nice catch up. crappy jokes. expected violence, ordering food like gluttons, pushing the food around 'generously'. and our meal ended with a refreshing orange jelly served in an orange. duh . . engr really can't write well ;p
Alright, back to work liaoz.

Waiting for Mr. Lee Ming Tao of EMA! working so hard.. too hard perhaps.. not blaming him for being a workaholic. feel for him la. So ke lian. working till ten for the past 2 wks. Haiz.. thot gov. pple go off on time one?
I have work to do also. but feeling abit unwell now. Seems like i'm going to have flu soon... (pls don't!) cos it's wkend tmr!!
Ok, since i m soooo free (not free. is refused to do work) i shall tell u my wkend plans...
Sat : 2-4pm : Going for salsa 2B 1st lesson!
erm.. actually not much plan liao. hee :p
okok , dun blog liao. later my boss thot i so hardworking but end up seeing me blogging. =x

I've survived 12wks of Salsa Lessons!
Yes! You didn't read it wrongly, I've attended 12 wks of salsa lessons! still surviving!
Started learning salsa~ with Hwee Suan, Lingling, Mingtao, Yongkang and Zhennan. Last Sat was our 12th lesson. The graduating class of level 2A. We have been thru 4 lessons of level 1A, 4 lessons of level 1B and 4 lessons of level 2A. I've forgotten why i wanted to learn salsa. But then again, it's a good experience. Especially when i have no dancing background at all. (* tell u all a little secret, .... i've joined chinese dance when i was in primary 5! but quit very soon after joining. cos the moves are really straining. So u can imagine i'm such an inflexible bee!)
When i attended the first lesson, felt abit paiseh and abit uncomfortable. We need to dance with every guy in the class and we need to dance real close to a stranger. Looking around in the air, looking down on the floor and everywhere, just to avoid eye contact. haha. till now, i can tell u, my skin has grown thicker, much thicker.
I think dancing salsa trains me to be more fang4 with gesture, more confident and more expressive with my body. eh.. sounds like i'm an expert liao? no la, i still look very char3 char2 (stiff) one. So dun expect tat i can dance well. haha.
Now the moves are getting tougher. in level 1A and 1B, it was just coordination work. now, spinning and spotting are really testing my limits! plus the shine footworks can really kill. ok, LOTs of practise is the key to dance well ba.
Will update more about my salsa dancing/learning experiences. . .
*Initally, i 'forced' him to learn with me. Now, he is more enthusiastic than me! :)
* Styling to me is memorising not by feeling . yet. hehe

Got an external hard disc at PC Show
After months of procastination, I've finally bought my portable external hard disc. My brother wanted to transfer our laptop data over so that he can reformat the slow laptop. For me, I want to go ard and collect back .... (not debts.. but)... photos!
First stop - Yongkang's hse.From Hwee Suan (Suan)!
2nd stop - Xiaoyun's (Yun) hse.
... pls own up if you have my photos at ur hse!
Bought the hard disc at the PC Show @ Suntec on thurs. The crowd was horrendous. haha. not so kua zhang la. Just that the crowd at those storage device stalls was overwhelming. A 2GB thumbdrive costs only about S$30! i bought a 256MB @ $60+ lor. (but was abt 1 to 2 years ago la)
My advice to PC Show : Do not expect to go 'shop' for items in the PC show. Aim for what you want to buy. Do some research. Go straight to the few vendors, compare the prices and packages, and if it's ok, buy and leave the place!
For us, we did the first part. Aim to get an external hard disc. but we did not do any research. So after some squeezing ard in the crowd, we decide to head to seagate booth and bought a
